Contributions Festival #2

For it’s second edition, the festival biennal takes design as a starting point and delves into the transportive power of music. From October 20-24, 2025, CONTRIBUTIONS will present five site-specific installations, all free and open to the public, showcasing the works and points of view of emerging and established voices alike, originating from around the globe. Four of the five exhibitions will feature sonic pieces composed in direct response to the works on view, broadcast with the help of French HiFi speaker manufacturer, La Boîte concept. Together, the music and objects form a unified narrative, where the soundscape becomes not just accompaniment but a crucial layer of meaning and experience. CONTRIBUTIONS continues in the same spirit it was first established: a collaborative, independent gesture that values experimentation, community, and cross-disciplinary exchange. By weaving music into its fabric, the festival amplifies design’s capacity to move us – creating experiences that speak as much to the heart as to the eye.
